This position’s key role is to function as a tier 1 level of support for Network, system and end user support at the Megamind (Offshore Egypt) and covering the scope related to implement, administer and monitor functional networks and system, and ensure operations work efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring endpoint virus protection solution.
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring mobile device management (managed laptop) solution.
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring multi-factor authentication solution.
- Provide required support in configuration and troubleshooting end users issues.
- Responsible for installation, configuration, managing, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and system devices.
- Investigate and identify the root cause of the infrastructure, system and end user incidents by analyzing problems and provide accurate and efficient timely solution.
- Proactive monitoring of all infrastructure, overseeing performance using a combination of tools and tuning the configuration to ensure high availability, SLA and maximize performance.
- Adherence to IT policies and procedures.
- Provide emergency 24 x 7 on-call support.
- Escalate network related issues to head of network operations.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT (BSc) or equivalent.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA) in Routing & Switching, Microsoft MCSA and other professional level equivalent certifications.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Network, System and End-user support.
Skills
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including Network, System, wireless access points, routers, switches and WLAN controllers.
- Knowledge on software defined network technologies includes SD-WAN, SD-Access.
- Experience with Network Monitoring and Analyzing Tools such as PRTG, Cisco DNAC and Wireshark.
- Excellent communication skills.
